Overview

These terms govern your use of the Albyn Fieldworks website and our garden maintenance services in Aberdeen. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

Our services

Albyn Fieldworks provides grass cutting, weeding, leaf clearance, and other garden maintenance services in Aberdeen and the surrounding area. The specific services available are listed on our website and may change from time to time.

Booking and pricing

  • Prices are calculated based on the garden area you draw on the map during booking, plus any additional services selected.
  • The price shown at checkout is the total price you pay. There are no hidden fees.
  • A booking is confirmed once payment has been processed successfully.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a booking and issue a full refund if we are unable to carry out the service (e.g. extreme weather, access issues).

Accuracy of information

When booking, you are responsible for providing accurate information about your property, including the garden area and any access instructions. If conditions on site are significantly different from what was described (e.g. the garden is much larger or severely overgrown beyond what was indicated), we may contact you to discuss before starting, or adjust the scope of work accordingly.

Access to your property

You must ensure we can access your garden at the booked time. If you won't be home, please provide clear access instructions during booking. If we cannot access the property at the scheduled time, the booking may be treated as completed and no refund will be issued.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We aim to be reasonable and fair with cancellations. Refund eligibility depends on how much notice is given and whether we've already allocated resources to your booking.

Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards. Payment is taken at the time of booking. We also accept cash payment for bookings made over the phone.

Liability

We take care to provide a quality service and avoid damage to your property. However:

  • We are not liable for damage to items left on lawns or in garden areas (e.g. toys, hoses, ornaments). Please clear the area before your booking where possible.
  • We are not responsible for the condition of pre-existing garden features (e.g. damaged fences, unstable borders).
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the service in question.

If something goes wrong, please let us know and we'll do our best to make it right.

Weather

Garden maintenance is weather-dependent. In the event of severe weather that makes it unsafe or impractical to carry out the work, we may need to reschedule your booking. We'll contact you to arrange a new date at no extra cost.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us immediately.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
